Overview

Navitas is ready to invest in you!  We are seeking a Project Management Intern in Ann Arbor, Michigan that will assist with project planning, execution, financial performance, and production plans. The intern will be assigned a project and mentored by a PMO Team member this winter/spring from approximately January to March.

Responsibilities

  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
  • Support problem solving, conflict resolution, and solution development to meet project milestones, with the goal of exceeding expectations for performance, quality, and timing.
  • Assists with optimizing and improving company work process and methodologies.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and operate in a safe manner.
  • Perform in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
  • Comply with Navitas policies and procedures.
  • Physical presence on the job is essential and necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education:  Interns are generally college students pursuing STEM degree programs.  There are no specific restrictions on major, graduation year, or progress.

 

Preferred Experience:  Project management/Engineering exposure or some coursework including project management is preferred but not required.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Individuals must be comfortable supporting US military-funded work.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

 

ITAR REQUIREMENTS: To conform to U.S. Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) the individual must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
