Overview

The Logistics Coordinator & MRO Material Handling Specialist is responsible for managing the flow of goods, materials, and maintenance supplies across the organization. This role ensures efficient logistics operations and accurate inventory control of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) items to support production and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

    • Coordinate shipping, receiving, and transportation of goods.
    • Track and manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
    • Prepare and maintain shipping/export documentation for domestic and international transactions.
    • Resolve logistics-related issues and collaborate with vendors and carriers.
    • Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or MRO inventory management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Forklift certification and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Familiarity with safety equipment and vendor-managed inventory programs.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CLTD) are a plus.
